REAL ESTATE SERVICES DURING PHASED REOPENING
Real Estate services have now been listed under “essential businesses” and are not restricted under the new NC Phase 1 orders. Precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of all parties including socially distanced showings, inspections, and closings.
Additional recommended precautions include Virtual showings, meetings, and e-sign documents to limit contact during the transaction process. Buyers and sellers should do what makes you the most comfortable! Showings at occupied homes are at the seller’s discretion and are permitted at unoccupied properties.

As a result of these changes, virtual showings are becoming more popular. There are a variety of options when it comes to digitally view homes including

- Matterport digital interactive floor plans
- Drone video tours
- And even some Facetime and zoom showings.
